A guy on Reddit posted the above picture, along with the following story: ‘I thought I was at the gym by myself at 3am, then this guy comes up to me and introduces himself.’

This is pretty weird because I mean, what the hell would John Travolta be doing in a deserted gym at 3am on his own? Given recent accusations from his former pilot that they enjoyed a six year gay affair in the 1980s, you might have some idea what you think he might be doing there, but if that was the case it seems strange that John Travolta would allow a selfie to be taken as he would probably want to keep that under wraps. The whole situation is strange whatever slant you put on it basically.

The original Reddit poster hasn’t said anything else about the incident – despite there being almost 4000 comments on the post asking him a whole bunch of questions – but another user said that the original poster did delete a comment he made shortly after the original post. The second user explains that the original user stated that ‘John approached him and asked if he was married, if he had kids, what he did in his spare time, and then started talking about his private jets. He said they talked for a while.’

Nothing too sinister there but it’s pretty easy to read between the lines on this one and come up with a whole bunch of different theories. Or maybe just one. You really do have to wonder what the hell John Travolta is doing in a gym at 3am going up to strangers and asking them about their families though right? Maybe it’s some kind of weird scientology thing.
