We all know about Donald Trump and his aggressive, never-ending handshake technique where he yanks the sh*t out of your hand to assert his dominance. He’s gotten many world leaders with it over the years:

Well it looks like Joe Rogan had done his research and was fully prepared for the moment when the time came for him to meet Donald Trump. Below, Rogan explains on a recent episode of his podcast how he managed to deal with the dreaded Trump handshake when meeting him at a UFC event:

Have to say, it does appear from the clip that Trump did get a bit of a pull in, but fair play to Joe Rogan for standing his ground and not getting yanked all over the place like so many others before him. That wouldn’t have been a great look for a guy who prides himself on being one of the most alpha men on the planet. Although it’s pretty shocking that he had to work so hard, mentally and physically, to prevent it from happening in the first place? I guess Donald Trump is stronger than he looks.
