The last thing anyone wants to see with the incoming Mike Tyson v Jake Paul fight on July 20 is the 27-year-old YouTuber KO the 57-year-old legend and then go around acting like he beat Iron Mike in his prime. But according to Joe Rogan, a Jake Paul W is the most likely outcome.

Here he is discussing the fight on a recent episode of his podcast:

On Jake Paul, Rogan said:

“A legitimate boxer? Yes. People mocked me when I was saying that before but now I think people are coming around. The way I look at it, I say if this kid wasn’t a YouTuber, if he wasn’t some guy you know when he was 16 years old on YouTube and you just saw him box, and you saw him knockout former UFC champions, beat legitimate boxer, you’d say this kid can f**king fight. Nothing he’s doing looks wrong.

“He’s fighting well, he looks good. The fact that he’s willing to fight Tyson, even if Tyson is 57, just the fact he’s willing to take a chance on Mike Tyson not being able to do what he used to do.”

“You see him hit those pads, he has not lost everything. He’s still not normal, but he’s still like a professional Heavyweight boxer. He’s still terrifying. You never bet against a 27-year-old fighting a 58-year-old.”

I guess we all just have to count on the fact that Mike Tyson knows this is his last chance to beat someone up legally, and that he makes 99% of the world happy by ensuring that person is Jake Paul. After all, he’s been fighting longer than Jake Paul has been alive, and is looking pretty damn ferocious in the training videos:

If he’s hitting that hard now, just imagine how hard and fast he’ll be swinging come July 20 when he steps into the ring against Jake Paul. As Joe Rogan says, this isn’t your average 57-year-old man who’s going to pull a muscle in his back pushing the lawnmower through the garden. This is Iron Mike Tyson ffs! An absolute beast who’s been fighting his whole life and always talked about how terrified he was that the old him was going to reappear one day.

Well, that may just happen on July 20 in the one fight of Jake Paul’s career that people are actually going to sit down and watch. Come on Mike, send him back to YouTube!

P.S. If Mike Tyson doesn’t manage to dispatch of Jake Paul, there’s always someone else who’s ready and willing…
