You might be forgiven for not knowing that Joe Hart is the reserve keeper at Tottenham these days, but you’ll certainly know about his status now after he just made one of the most hilarious social media screw ups in recent times.

Las night, Spurs managed to somehow blow a 2-0 lead going into the second leg against European giants Dinamo Zagreb and crash out of the Europa League following a hat trick from Mislav Orsic and it was a result that saw fans and pundits turn on manager Jose Mourinho and his players. So obviously Joe Hart – or a ‘member of his social media team’ – thought it would be a good idea to post on his Instagram story this morning a picture of a 3-2 result alongside the words ‘Job Done’ and a massive tick. Whoops.
That’s so stupid it almost isn’t funny. Thankfully for us though, someone over at Spurs woke Joe Hart up – he literally says he’s just woken up in the video – to try and explain the situation in a little video that will probably be immortalised forever on account of how dumb it is:

Wow. It’s so funny that someone had to wake him up to do this apology. I guess he had to fly back from Croatia so can sleep in a bit, but even so that’s really funny. Love the way he ends it with ‘have a great day’ as well. What a legend.
