Wild footage of a flying jellyfish UFO has gone viral this week, and it’s particularly notable because it comes from one of the most trusted sources on the topic – investigative journalist and ufologist Jeremy Corbell.
New UFO Footage: “The Jellyfish”
In 2018, the U.S. military captured footage in Iraq over a sensitive facility. The object was designated as “UAP” by U.S. Intelligence.

The footage is taken from Iraq in 2018 and was obtained by Corbell, who identified direct eyewitnesses that corroborated that the event occurred and described the following:
“It goes out over a body of water. I’m told, it stops on a dime, descends into the water, stiff into the water. And for 17 minutes, nothin’. And BOOM! This thing comes up out of the water and shoots off at 45 degrees.”
Witnesses also said that each of the hanging legs on the UFO were ‘stiff and unmoving’. Corbell says the legitimacy of the footage was confirmed by sources who ‘risked getting it’ to him.
Now obviously there’s no way of telling how legit this footage really is just from watching it. It could be bird poop splattered on the lens of the camera or a window for all we know. But we wouldn’t be doing our journalistic duty if we didn’t at least report the latest UFO news.
In any case, the internet has some ideas:

If the jelly fish is changing temp, then so are these road barriers.
It’s adjusting the temp scale to surroundings. pic.twitter.com/VBUbRexzyh

White phosphorus munitions have been used many times in Iraq.
I’m not saying the ‘jellyfish’ is white phosphorus, but it’s worth looking in to.https://t.co/h21y35t7PS pic.twitter.com/2oc5bS158N

Like what are we doing here? Remember the scene from my cousin Vinny when he’s looking at the pictures she took, and he says what is that dog shit? I mean how can you not tell it’s just something dirty on the screen that runs down? pic.twitter.com/gXaFrYKpwU

I guess we’ll have to wait for something a little more conclusive, although it’s getting pretty frustrating at this point. There’s been so much UFO speculation, promises of evidence, and suggestions that world governments were going to start being more ‘open’ about what they know, but so far, none of that has really materialised. Maybe 2024 will be different?
Then again, the Mexican government did unveil two 1,000-year-old ‘alien bodies’ on live TV last year, so credit where it’s due.
