Despite being in his forties and having cemented his status as a pro wrestling legend a long time ago, Jeff Hardy is still out there Swanton Bombing off ladders and through tables set up in random parts of arenas around the world. Yeah OK you might say there were a bunch of cardboard boxes under that table to cushion his fall, but give the guy a break – he’s 45 years old! Not to mention the countless injuries he’s picked up to his spine and legs throughout his career. I’m not sure what the commentator is on about saying “I’ve never seen anything like this!” though – Jeff Hardy’s literally been doing that same thing for two decades.
In fact it was only a couple years back when he tried a similar stunt and ended up cracking his head on the steel steps outside the ring:
Jeff Hardy VS Elias’ Symphony of Destruction match was actually a lot of fun… until this ridiculously dangerous final spot. You could clearly see there wasn’t enough room for a Swanton in that position. Just watch Hardy’s head!! Thank God he’s OK #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/q7tKTDUTo7

It’s just mental to think that he’s still pulling off these high-risk maneuvers 20+ years after he first started doing them alongside the Dudleyz and Edge & Christian and all those other nut jobs that made up the Attitude Era in the late 90s/early 00s. Big respect to Jeff Hardy for doing what he loves and risking his life when he doesn’t have to anymore. A future Hall of Famer for sure.
