It brings me no pleasure to report that WWE legend Jeff Hardy is still getting himself into drug/alcohol/legal trouble, with his most recent DUI arrest occurring in Florida this week, and resulting in him being suspended from AEW.

Cops spotted Hardy driving erratically at 10AM on Monday morning, and had to draw their guns on him after he initially failed to comply with orders. Here’s the footage via TMZ:

Man it really sucks to see someone with so much talent and support around the world take such poor care of himself at this stage of his life. Who could forget the countless ‘Holy Sh*t’ moments he provided us over the years in WWE and later in AEW:

I guess throwing yourself off ladders for 20+ years and breaking numerous bones in your body takes its toll on you and getting wrecked on vodka is one way to deal with that. Still it’s so sad to think of how much he’s given to the wrestling world and how he’s getting p*ssed and arrested for DUIs at 44 years old. It’s his third DUI arrest since 2018, and he was also driving with a suspended license, naturally.

Brother Matt Hardy issued the following statement:

‘It was disheartening to hear the news about my brother yesterday. Recovery isn’t a linear process & I’ll continue doing whatever I can to help my brother be healthy. Being healthy & well is the most important thing for Jeff, his wife, his children & our family at this time.’

Let’s hope Jeff Hardy can clean himself up and get it all under control, not just for his family and friends, but also because he’s too much of a legend to just keep destroying his legacy like this. Come on Jeff, we’re rooting for you!
