I know there’s been a lot of chat about the Coronavirus this week, but all that paled in comparison to the revelations last night that James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke was completely and utterly fake and he wasn’t even driving the car during it, as fans went absolutely apeshit about it last night.

It really did seem like it was the end of the world the way some fans were reacting, but James Corden himself doesn’t seem too bothered about it, trolling fans even further with his reaction post:

I mean that’s pretty much the only way to react really isn’t it? You’ve gotta own it in these situations and you wrote a massive letter apologising and explaining why it just wasn’t practical then you would just look like a massive pussy wouldn’t you?

Fact is it isn’t really gonna change anything whatever Corden does and millions of people are still going to watch his infuriatingly annoying interviews over and over again because that’s what they do. I guess now some smartass might be like ‘yeah but you know he isn’t actually driving’ every time they watch it, but that’s literally all that’s going to change.

Kinda stupid that everyone actually thought he was driving all the time as well, isn’t it fairly obvious from the way the guests just stop and get in? Surely they’re not just waiting around on a busy LA street for Corden to drive by? In one episode Stevie Wonder was even driving the car which pretty much implies they were trolling everyone who thought it was real the whole time. Wake up guys.
