James Argent, 35, ‘Heartbroken’ As He Splits From 19-Year-Old Girlfriend

Is it weird for a 35-year-old man to be dating a 19-year-old? Or rather, is it weird for James Argent to be dating a girl who would have been 6 when he first appeared on TOWIE?

That’s up for debate, but it’s sad news for James either way as he’s reportedly been left ‘heartbroken’ after parting ways with teenage actress/model Stella Turian, after having already met her parents in Italy and ‘won them over’.

Argent and Turian had been dating for a year, since Argent was 34 and Turian was 18. I guess all the age-gap haters have finally got their wish, with an ‘insider’ telling MailOnline: ‘Despite being in a long-distance relationship, James and Stella managed to make things work for over a year. There are no hard feelings between them, they still follow each other on Instagram.’

Ah yes, the ultimate barometer for an amicable split = still following each other on Instagram.

Personally, I’m not sure it’s fair to say that this was Prince Andrew or R Kelly-style behaviour from the TOWIE legend. I mean if anyone’s going to have lots in common with a 19-year-old girl it’s James Argent, no matter how old he gets. She’s probably a million times more mature than him already!

The guy lost 14 stone and hadn’t publicly dated anyone since Gemma Collins broke his heart into billion pieces, so what better ego boost than dating an 19-year-old Italian model, even if it didn’t last in the end? Chin up, James! Plenty more fish in the sea!
