Haven’t spoken too much about the Tyron Woodley/Jake Paul fight at this point because it was basically a joke – like it was going to be anything else – after Jake Paul won on points despite Woodley knocking him down and Paul using the ropes to bounce back up so it wasn’t classed as a knockdown, but the memes are coming out in full force after Paul announced he had retired from boxing so here we are.

Paul posted the status update on his Twitter account and was immediately hit with a bunch of comments/pictures/memes calling him a pussy for getting hit hard once and then quitting straight away after controversially winning the fight (in his hometown of Cleveland no less). Ouch. I doubt that any of this is really going to piss Jake Paul off too much thoughconsidering that he’s made a very successful career out of pulling stunts like this and annoying the vast majority of the world and receiving similar backlashes to this. Guy probably thrives off it now.
Also, in fairness to Paul he probably knew that this was exactly what was going to happen when he posted something like that. There’s no such thing as bad publicity and the guy has pretty much built his career on the back of that. Can’t really deny that he knows what he’s doing and is way richer and more famous than you or me at this point. Yeah, I hate it too.
