The idea of Jake Paul knocking out Anderson Silva is a depressing one, but it looks like the Problem Child is going to have the opportunity in October when he takes on the UFC legend in a boxing ring…

Anderson Silva may be pushing 50, but this should actually be Jake’s toughest test yet. Since retiring from MMA, Silva has had four boxing fights and even knocked out Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, whose record was 53-5 when Silva fought him…

So Silva at 47 beat a legit boxer who is over 10 years younger than him. Meanwhile, Jake Paul has never fought a professional boxer, so this might actually be a very reasonable test for him. It’s definitely a step up from Tyron Woodley and Nate Robinson, right? It’s probably even a step up from the Tommy Fury fight, which I think we all accept is never going to happen in this lifetime.
Still, even if Jake does end up knocking out Anderson Silva, you know he’s still going to catch flack about Silva being a retired MMA fighter in his late forties. I hate to say it but I have a feeling that’s exactly what’s going to happen; Jake Paul will knock out Anderson Silva and we’ll never hear the end of it. I just think he has too much motivation and has been training for ages since Fury ducked him, whereas Silva will just enjoy the payday and always have the excuse that he’s basically an old man.
The most exciting part about it though is how soon this fight is scheduled to take place. According to reports, it’s less than two months away. Whether you want to see Jake Paul win or get KO’d, there’s something for everyone to tune in for.
In the meantime, Jake Paul has been keeping busy by beating up YouTubers in nightclubs.
