We’ve already seen a clip of Jada Pinkett Smith filming Will Smith without his permission earlier today and here’s another one of her acting extremely ungratefully when talking about her 40th birthday party that Will spent three fucking years organising.

The clip comes courtesy of her Red Table Talk TV Show and she somehow manages to get Will Smith to admit that he spent three years planning her birthday party because of his own ego. It’s pretty fucking incredible how she’s got him so under the thumb:

Jada: I think the turning point in our relationship for me, happened when I turned 40. That’s when I had a mid-life crisis.

Will: Yeah, your 40th birthday was my low point.

The day after her 37th birthday, I hired a team to orchestrate her 40th birthday.”

I hired a documentary team, I traced mommy’s family roots.

Her 40th birthday was going to be my thing!

Jada: It was going to be a splash.

Will: Mary J. Blige performed, I debuted the film, all of that.

It was going to be the thing that lifted her out of this mid-life crisis. It was going to be my deepest most beautiful proclamation of love.

And she told me that the party was the most ridiculous display of my ego.

Crushed, right? And to this day I know I was crushed because it was true. It wasn’t a party for her.

That’s such a weird reaction isn’t it? Even if she did really believe it was about Will Smith’s ego, couldn’t she at least pretend to be happy and give the guy a win considering he spent three whole years planning it? Instead she choose to call him out on being an egomaniac. Good one.

Kinda seems like she just wants to beat the poor guy as far as she can until he breaks and it doesn’t seem like it’s too far off these days. Thoughts and prayers.
