Some of the comments underneath the youtube video are proper whingy, saying not to laugh at brave women “risking their lives for glory”. Sorry anyone who risks dying for “glory” is an egotistical fool. And the people who glorify them are the ones encouraging them. Someone needs to say “look, this ironman, it’s not big, it’s not clever, it’s dangerous, stop showing off”.
If you want to dedicate your life to something at least do it for something useful, go cure cancer or save the rainforests or some shit like that. Or if you really want to get unnecessarily good at something pointless then at least make it something safe; darts, sudoku, pro evolution soccer, something like that.
