I think there’s gonna be another week or so of the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial but one of the main points of contention so far has concerned the photographs of Amber Heard that apparently show the aftermath of her face after being struck by her husband Johnny Depp.

During the trial this week, Depp’s lawyers confronted Heard about the photographs, arguing that she enhanced the saturation on them to make her face look redder as if she had been hit. Heard obviously denied these allegations.

Anyway, some internet detective decided to analyse the photographs to prove that they were exactly the same and one of them had the saturation turned up on it. Take a look at the video below and see what you think:

Yeah that really doesn’t look so good for Amber Heard there does it? Even without the overlapping comparison I don’t think that anyone would really doubt that they were the same picture with some editing done to the later one because even to the naked eye they look exactly the same.

Crucially, for some reason Depp’s lawyers didn’t think to use the information/comparison in court which is kinda weird, but maybe there’s some sort of law preventing them from doing that. Or they’re saving it for right at the end. Or maybe they just don’t need to because it’s so glaringly obvious.

Anyway, that is going to hurt Amber’s testimony even if she did get struck by Johnny Depp because it’s just going to make her look like a liar, no doubt about it. Whether or not she’s a bigger liar than Johnny Depp is up for the jury to decide though.
