Bizarre scenes on an Avanti West Coast train from London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly this week as a woman who looks Asian questioned another person’s ethnicity because he doesn’t ‘look British’, and ended up looking like a big racist on camera. Here’s how it all played out:

My favourite part about this footage though has to be the guy sat next to the Karen who’s pretending to sleep throughout the whole argument. I mean, it doesn’t get more British than that, does it? What a guy.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: ‘Officers received a text report to 61016 at about 11.45am on February 3 concerning racial abuse on a train from Euston to Manchester.
‘Officers met the train at Stoke railway station and identified people in connection. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.’
