Most people only use Instagram as a fun way to justify their lives and gain the acceptance and envy of their friends, but it turns out if you’re serious about it then you could be making some proper money.

The cost of an actual Instagram post has long been debated by marketing pros and anyone in the business, but the guys over at Influencer Marketing Hub have come up with the Instagram Money Calculator to help us figure it out. Spoiler alert: if you’ve got a lot of followers, then you can make a lot of money.
The only way to make money on Instagram is to get a brand to pay you directly to post about their product (unlike other ways YouTube and websites monetise by including ads alongside or before their content), but even so it can still be pretty lucrative.

Man. Like Beyonce needs any more money, she can literally earn what I would earn in about ten years just by putting up a goddamn Instagram post that probably takes her about 30 seconds. Hell, she probably has someone to do all the filters and post it for her too – why would she waste her time doing something banal and menial like that? Life is unfair.
