Photographer Richard Mosse spent a year in the war-torn Democratic Republic of Congo taking these snaps of its people and places. He used a discontinued Kodak film called Aerochrome to turn the landscape a mixture of pink and purple offering a stark contrast to the darkness of war that is also evident in the photos.
