Four men in the Indian state of Maharashtra have been arrested for allegedly raping a Bengal monitor lizard within a tiger sanctuary, reports India Today.

The four suspects were initially taken into custody when they were caught on CCTV visiting the Sahydari Tiger Reserve for the purpose of hunting. Forestry officials went through their phones and alongside photos of hunted pangolin, hare, mousedeer and porcupine, they found a recording of the men supposedly raping the lizard.

Officials are seeking for the “maximum punishment” to be handed to the accused, which seems about right because I don’t think there’s many things more incomprehensibly depraved and f*cked up than gang-raping a lizard. Not to mention killing the lizard afterwards; a reserved species under India’s Wildlife Protection Act. Of all the rapes, murders, abductions etc we’ve written about on Sick Chirpse over the years, this might be the most insane, logic-defying, f*cked up thing I’ve ever read a human choose to do. A whole group of them in fact! Did one guy spring the idea and the others followed suit?

I just don’t understand how one person, let alone four people in a group, decide to come together to gang bang a lizard. They took video of it too, which means they were going to jerk off to it later? Show it off to their buddies back in the village? Just flabbergasting on so many levels. Let’s hope they do indeed face the maximum punishment and/or their dicks rot off ASAP.
