A Colombian man has been arrested after being caught trying to smuggle £8,000 worth of cocaine under his wig. Talk about the devil’s dandruff!
The 40-year-old was attempting to fly to the Netherlands from Cartagena Airport in Colombia, but didn’t even make it past the X-ray scanner which picked up on the mounds of coke he was carrying on his head.
Border security pulled the man aside, cut away his wig and sure enough, discovered 19 packs of white powder inside, which later tested positive for cocaine. Here’s the footage of them cutting away the toupee/completely f***ing up this guy’s hair:

Brigadier General Gelver Yecid Peña Araque said:
‘We are dealing decisive blows against these criminal structures that not only fight over local drug trafficking, but are also the generators of different violent acts and other types of crimes that disrupt peace and coexistence.
‘We continue to insist on the importance of the community being our main ally, providing timely information that helps us identify and locate criminals.’
Well, good try I guess. Makes you wonder how many times he pulled this off successfully without being caught. I mean, you really would think that there’s no better hiding spot for £8,000 of cocaine than under a wig, right on the top of your head. They make you take everything out of your pockets at the airport, take your shoes off, go through your bags… but I’ve never heard of them making anyone take off their hair, have you?
Poor sod. Pretty sure I hide my wallet better than this guy hides his cocaine, and my wallet only has about £20 and a Tesco Clubcard in it. Unfortunately now, there’s hell toupee for this lad (sorry). You live and you learn.
If only he’d waited a few years, the President of Colombia may have successfully implemented his plan to legalise cocaine worldwide. That’ll be the day…
