There’s been a lot of hype over incoming horror film ‘In A Violent Nature’, which is basically a slasher shot from the perspective of the killer. In other words, imagine Friday the 13/Halloween but we’re constantly following what the killer does, when in a typical horror movie, the camera would be following the victims.
Colour me intrigued, and doubly so after watching the first trailer land this week:
‘IN A VIOLENT NATURE’ is at 93% on Rotten Tomatoes

Seems pretty hardcore. From what I’ve read on the review sites, it’s very slow-paced but the killing scenes are awesome and the sound design and practical effects are incredible. It’s got 93% on Rotten Tomatoes so it’s clearly done something right.
Here’s the synopsis if you’re looking for more context:
When a locket is removed from a collapsed fire tower in the woods that entombs the rotting corpse of Johnny, a vengeful spirit spurred on by a horrific 60-year-old crime, his body is resurrected and becomes hellbent on retrieving it. The undead golem hones in on the group of vacationing teens responsible for the theft and proceeds to methodically slaughter them one by one in his mission to get it back — along with anyone in his way.
‘In A Violent Nature’ hits cinemas on May 31, 2024. In the meantime, check out the first trailer for Guy Ritchie’s Nazi-killing epic starring Henry Cavill, click HERE.
