It’s fair to say that Arnold Schwarzenegger isn’t exactly the box office draw that he once was since his time as the Governor of California and so now he’s decided to follow in the footsteps of other old movie stars like Sylvester Stallone and Harrison Ford and turn his attention to the small screen.

Schwarzenegger has never starred in a television show before, but he’s teamed up with Netflix and ‘Prison Break’, ‘The Sopranos’ and ‘Reacher’ writer Nick Santora for ‘FUBAR’. It’s going to premiere on May 25th and they’ve just released the first teaser trailer, which isn’t giving much away:
From creator Nick Santora (Reacher, Prison Break): A CIA operative on the verge of retirement discovers a family secret.
Forced to go back into the field for one last job, FUBAR tackles universal family dynamics set against a global backdrop of spies, action and humour.
Yeah they really aren’t telling us anything there are they, other than it sort of sounds like it’s going to be a TV version of ‘True Lies’. I’ve heard that ‘Tulsa King’ and ‘Shrinking’ and ‘1923’ are all decent though, so maybe ‘FUBAR’ will follow the same trend. Probably be worth checking out a couple of episodes at least come May.
