Everyone I’ve ever met has told me that ‘Ted Lasso’ is great and that I should watch it and both seasons have cleared up at all the awards shows, so I’m not really sure why I still haven’t bothered at this point?

The good news is that I’ve got a month to catch up on the first two seasons as it’s been announced that season three will premiere on Apple + on March 15th. The first trailer can be seen below and you can read a synopsis for the season (that doesn’t really mean anything to me):
In this third season of Ted Lasso, the newly-promoted AFC Richmond faces ridicule as media predictions widely peg them as last in the Premier League and Nate (Nick Mohammed), now hailed as the “wonder kid,” has gone to work for Rupert (Anthony Head) at West Ham United.
In the wake of Nate’s contentious departure from Richmond, Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) steps up as assistant coach, alongside Beard (Brendan Hunt). Meanwhile, while Ted (Jason Sudeikis) deals with pressures at work, he continues to wrestle with his own personal issues back home, Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) is focused on defeating Rupert and Keeley (Juno Temple) navigates being the boss of her own PR agency. Things seem to be falling apart both on and off the pitch, but Team Lasso is set to give it their best shot anyway.
Eh, nothing about that synopsis or trailer really makes me want to watch it though despite what everyone is saying? Especially the fact that the most English song writer of all time Frank Turner is providing the soundtrack.
I guess I just think it’s a little twee but that’s the point but let’s be honest I’m probably going to get into it this time and will probably be tuning in come March 15th. Well, before that if I want to catch up in time.
For more of the same, check out Jason Sudeikis’ meltdown when he found out his wife Olivia Wilde was dating Harry Styles. In fairness, anyone would probably act like that.
