Despite the fact that the new season has been kind of disappointing, The Walking Dead remains one of the most popular TV shows of the past few years, and everyone got really excited when Universal Studios announced that they were turning it into a 360 immersive experience at their California theme park.

Now, someone has kindly filmed themselves walking through the attraction and showing us what it’s all about, so we don’t have to go all the way to California to check it out ourselves. The experience is pretty much exactly what you would imagine it to be – you and a bunch of other people walk through a few of the classic scenes from the show being chased by walkers all over the place:
Meh. I mean I suppose it might be kind of fun/scary if you’re actually there but the walkthrough made it look kind of lame.
Sure, it’s kinda cool walking through some of the iconic scenes from the show and there were a couple of times when I thought that it might have actually been scary if I had actually been there when a walker jumped out at me, but most of the time it seemed pretty tame. Impressive how they got so many people to dress up as the dead though – imagine if that was your job all year round.
At least now I don’t have to go all the way to California to be disappointed by it now. Would probably have had to queue for about three hours judging too judging by how big the zones set out for that were at the beginning. It would probably be even lamer if you were walking around it slowly with a whole load of other people too, which is what would inevitably happen so I’m probably gonna have to cross this one off the list for now.
Seems like everything involved with The Walking Dead this year is going to shit. At least we’ll always have this bad lip reading of it though. That was a good one.
