Virtually every single post we’ve been writing this week has had something to do with ‘Barbie’ or ‘Oppenheimer’, but it’s usually been someone talking about how Barbie is way too woke or something rather than the delicious content contained in this article of a video of someone having a major scrap at a screening of it.

The video was uploaded onto TikTok by user Sophia Ferreira who sat down to watch the movie at a cinema over in Brazil. Members of the audience became upset by the fact that one kid was just watching YouTube videos throughout the entirety of the movie and ended up coming to blows following its conclusion.

In fairness, that does sound really annoying, but I’m not sure if would wait until the end of the movie when the credits were rolling to start beef about it. Surely you would just do it at some point during the film itself so it would stop disturbing you and you could actually watch it?

Anyway, here’s the fight how it went down:

Geez that is a pretty savage slap there on that woman isn’t it? Kinda a shame it dies down there after the old man gets involved, but I guess it was never going to be a major ruckus in the cinema for ‘Barbie’.

This video does beg the question of what the next insane ‘Barbie’ adjacent reaction is going to be, as it seems like one of the most polarising movies in recent history. I really hope we don’t see some incel shoot up a cinema in somewhere like New Mexico, but at this point it probably wouldn’t be that surprising sadly.
