I feel like ‘Barry’ has been slept on a bit in this country, but people really started to get more into it during the last season where it stopped being a comedy about a hitman and turned more into a Shakespeare esque story about Barry going completely off the rails after his past misdeeds finally started catching up with him.

Series creator Bill Hader has confirmed that the next season will be the final one and it seems as if he’s had this ending planned out from the start and it should be a fitting conclusion as al the characters look as if they’re going to get what’s coming to them. (Spoilers, although not sure why you’re reading this article if you haven’t watched the series yet)
Following on from the events of last season, Barry is in jail and seemingly pretty crushed by what Gene Cousineau did to him by betraying him and turning him in. Then out of nowhere it turns out that Fuches is in the same prison and I imagine that the two of them team up to break out and wreck havoc and those who have wronged them. Sounds great to me.

Cousineau (Henry Winkler) is hailed as a hero as Barry’s (Bill Hader) arrest has shocking consequences.
It’s all been leading up to this – the explosive and hilarious final chapter of Barry.
Yeah I’m not really sure how hilarious this is going to be as they seem to have ditched the comedy elements of the show a long time ago, but I’m pretty sure it’s going to be must see television come Easter. Can’t wait.
For more of the same, check out the full trailer for the final season of ‘Succession’ as well. HBO really coming up with the goods this year.
