A case that I assume many of us thought would never get anywhere near a courthouse did exactly that today, when Harvey Weinstein arrived at a Manhattan court house earlier today to enter a plea of not guilty to two charges of rape from two separate women.

Although countless women accused him of inappropriate behaviour and rape, the charges involved two victims. One is named Lucia Evans and she claimed that Weinstein forced her to perform oral sex on him at his office in Tribeca back in 2004. The other woman has not been identified, but it’s understood that she is accusing Harvey of holding her against her will in a Manhattan hotel room in 2013 and raping her.

Harvey arrived shortly before 10am to enter his plea at a courthouse that was so packed that people had to be turned away from attending. He left shortly afterwards as he’s currently on a $1 million bail agreement which requires him to wear a GPS tracker at all times.
No idea when the case will actually come to trial but it might not be the only one that Weinstein has to answer in the coming months. Allegations in London and Los Angeles are both being investigated and could yet come to fruition. Here’s hoping at from the sheer volumes of stories that have emerged it seems like Harvey is definitely guilty of something.
