Photographer Camilo José Vergara set out on a project to document the changes in America’s urban landscapes by studying certain addresses and returning to photograph them from the same angle as time rolls on.
This is his study of 65 E. 125th Street in Harlem — and while it depicts the transformation of one single address over the years it also says a lot about how an area on the whole can evolve over time.
