Sunstroke & Ice Burn
Image VIA
The earth would still be rotating around the sun so we would have years that are 365 days long. Like normal. But, because it’s not rotating on its axis, each day would also be 365 days in length. Half the year you would be trapped in blazing sunshine that would desiccate and destroy pretty much all living things, and the other half you’d be in constant freezing night. You’d face the sort of cold where nothing can survive, not even penguins.
Now, let’s imagine you survived being flung at 1,674.4 km/h, you also outlived the wind and the intense temperature jazz. (I know it’s not very likely, but the whole thing’s unlikely, so let’s run with it shall we?) What’s in store for you next?
Still no joy I’m afraid. The earth’s protective magnetic field will be gone (or at least hugely weakened). Normally it coats the atmosphere like a lovely warm hug, preventing dangerous solar winds from bashing us in.

Once that protective magnetic shield is gone there’ll be no Northern Lights for you, but that’s the least of your worries. The sun’s rays and all their deadly venom will no longer be stopped from reaching the surface of the planet, and more importantly – your body. So if you did manage to get this far, it’ll be the cosmic rays that finally destroy you.
THE END.
