Getting attacked by a tiger is probably near the bottom of my list of things to do, but ending up looking like this dude after it is even further down it.

Hashmot Ali from southern Bangladesh was sleeping in a boat docked on a forest canal when a tiger sneaked up on him and slashed his face with one swipe of its claws, leaving the damage that you can see below. Jesus.

The tiger was eventually scared off after Ali’s scream woke his colleagues and they started making loud noises with boat paddles. Who knows what more damage it might have done had it been allowed to continue the attack?

Things got even worse for Ali though as it took everyone in his crew six hours to ride back to the mainland so he could be seen by a doctor. Once he arrived, they said it was too late to do anything about his wounds and just put some plasters on them instead. Fuck, imagine that eh?

Man. I can’t even comprehend what is going on with his face, let alone how he even goes about his daily life. I’m not trying to be mean here but honestly, it’s a mess and that’s the only way to describe it. Really feel for the guy.

Since then, he has to wear a handkerchief over his face because everyone in his village is scared of him and he worries that it will stop his daughter from finding a husband. That’s the least of his worries to be honest – what a guy.

Ali really wants to get plastic surgery some day but doubts he’ll ever be able to afford it – surely there must be someone out there willing to perform some pro bono work on him? I mean look at the state of him, it’s hardly that much to ask is it? Please?

Ali can take solace in the case of this guy who managed to get his face reconstructed after being mauled by a bear, and ended up looking pretty decent.
