There’s a series on The Discovery Channel called ‘The Venom Hunter’, and it’s about Steve Backshall being a tough guy going out and getting stung and bitten by all sorts of creepy crawlies. In the episode I caught at the weekend Steve really meets his match. During the show he lets himself be bitten by a shit load of ‘bullet ants’ and experiences ‘the worst amount of pain the human body can physically experience’ – gnarly.
