A Russian pensioner, Tamara Samsonova, has been arrested after she was caught killing her friend in the most ruthless way possible.

According to Russian prosecutors, the 68-year-old, who has been dubbed the ‘Granny Ripper’, crushed 50 sleeping pills into her buddy’s salad before severing off her head and boiling it in a saucepan.

She was caught out on CCTV as she took the pan outside and threw the remains into a bin.

Russia’s powerful Investigative Committee, who are basically their version of the FBI, recently sent her case to court, as prosecutors suspected that her friend Valentina Ulanova, 79, died from an insanely strong drug overdose.

The court heard how Samsonova used a handsaw to cut up Ulanova and used plastic bags to dispose of the other body parts. She’s also suspected of various other killings including lodgers, her husband and her mother-in-law. This woman is an absolute savage.

The police even got hold of her diary:

I killed my tenant Volodya, cut him to pieces in the bathroom with a knife, put the pieces of his body in plastic bags and threw them away in the different parts of Frunzensky district.

As said, this nutter is accused of various other killings and this diary provides serious evidence, although the police are having trouble charging her for them as they cannot currently find any other human remains. I’m gonna throw a wild guess out there and say that she probably ate them. She seems like the type and she did boil her best mate’s head after all. Either way, I’m sure she’ll be going down for a long time after this horrific crime.
