There’s not much information available about who’s actually playing in this match, but it looks like it’s a little league match over in the States judging by the cringeworthy accents on display in the video.
In any case, I’m sure you all probably remember that amazing bendy Roberto Carlos free kick from 1998. This kid performs a similar kind of shot (albeit much closer to the goal) and everyone watching the game thinks it’s in the back of the net, only for the keeper to pull off a truly excellent save to prevent it. If only I knew who these kids were I would definitely be tipping them for bright futures in the game.
