I guess with the demise of ‘The Jeremy Kyle Show’, we’ve all learned that it isn’t funny to laugh at the problems of people way less fortunate than us, but then something like this comes along and you can’t help but rubber neck all over it.

In fairness, 21 year old Autumn Ankerich decided to reveal details of the holiday from hell on her TikTok, so it’s not exactly like she didn’t want to share her story with the whole entire world. Here’s what she had to say about the time that her father ended up sleeping with her best friend (unfortunately she’s made her TikTok account private now after it went viral, so maybe she didn’t want everyone in the world to know her story. Be careful what you wish for) :

I asked her why there was a condom wrapper on the seat and she told me she thought it was a dream.

I was pregnant at the time, so that’s why I wasn’t partying with her.

We fell out the next day and she left me on the beach for another guy who was twice her age and I never saw her again after that.

She posted on Instagram a few weeks later, bragging about sleeping with my dad, but that was it.

My friend was flirting with my dad and he was flirting back, so I went to the room as it made me uncomfortable.

I’ve always had a weird relationship with my dad and we only ever saw each other in the summer.

I used to be a ‘daddy’s girl’ but as I got older and smarter, we grew apart because I realised he wasn’t normal.

I confronted both of them and we don’t really have a relationship now.

I’ll be hesitant to introduce my friends to him – although I don’t believe the friends I have now would ever do anything like this to me.

Wow. Whilst that story is ostensibly sad and gross, there are so many little details in it that just make it even more unbearable. Firstly, that Autumn was pregnant when all this went down – how callous and selfish do her father and best friend have to be to sleep together when she’s in that state? – and secondly that her best friend never spoke to her again and bragged about sleeping with her dad on Instagram. On what planet is anyone going to look at that post and be impressed?

Almost like they copied an old episode of Jeremy Kyle. Real car crash TikTok. Hope everyone involved is OK in their own lives as it sounds like they’re estranged forever. They’re probably just screwing more shit up though.
