Germany’s version of ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ has been thrown into the spotlight recently due to its explicit content.

If you thought the shower scenes in the UK version were attention-grabbing, then you clearly haven’t seen Germany’s take on the reality TV show. In this version, contestants are not shy about getting their entire kit off, and in every episode you see one or more of the contestants getting completely starkers from the camera. No wonder they have such insane viewing figures.
The German equivalent of ‘I’m A Celeb’ takes place in the same stretch of Australian jungle as the UK version, and even features the show’s ever-popular Medic Bob. However, the Bushtucker trials are reportedly a lot tougher, meaning there’s a lot of munching down on bugs and animal genitals. Lovely.
They’ve got the right idea – I’m sure many more UK viewers would’ve tuned into the latest series of ‘I’m a Celeb’ if they knew that Carol Vordermen was taking her kit off. The ratings would’ve been through the roof.
