Shakira Is Close To A Deal With Barcelona That Would Have Her Ex Wear Her Name On His Kit

Cheating on Shakira is bad enough, but cheating on her after an 11-year relationship during which she’s given birth to your two kids? That’s a violation that warrants cold, hard, creative revenge. And it looks like Shakira might be about to get it.

According to Barcelona-based sports journalist Moises Llorens, the Colombian mega star is close to a deal that could see her name featured on the Barcelona kit. It’s part of the club’s aim to bring music and football together following their partnership with Spotify. Leading Spanish news website El Espanol also teased the news with their headline: “Barcelona is planning the ‘reunion’ of Gerard Pique with Shakira.”

What a hilarious bit of revenge this would be for Shakira. As one of the most famous and desirable women on the planet, you can only imagine how insulted she was that Gerard Pique would cheat on her. Simply shagging someone else and moving on without him is not enough. She’s gone completely next level with it and is instead trying to negotiate a deal with Barcelona that would force her cheating ex to wear her name on the new Barcelona kit.

Remember, since teaming up with Spotify, Barcelona already wore Drake’s logo on their kit when facing Real Madrid (a game they lost btw):

So while the precedent is there, we’ll probably have to wait and see how this transpires as I’m sure these things take a while. How devastating could this prove to be for Gerard Pique though? Not only getting slapped by Real Madrid, but also on the verge of dropping out of the Champions League, and now he’s going to have to wear his scorned ex’s name on his kit too? Might want to stay on the bench if that happens, or hand in his transfer request. There’s no coming back from it.
