A vicious assault took place during a climate change debate on GB News earlier, with Dr Tessa Dunlop and former Tory politician Jerry Hayes appearing on Jacob Rees-Mogg’s State of the Nation show.

The pair were discussing climate change activists and their shenanigans around the UK when Dunlop decided to turn violent:

Oh, the humanity! Jerry Hayes was very upset and accused Tessa Dunlop of assaulting him, and she quickly apologised. In fairness to Hayes, if he had done that to her, he’s be fired, cancelled and probably never appear on TV again. Imagine if he had bitten her hand as she held it over his mouth? Now that would’ve been something.

Dunlop did later issue an apology on Twitter:

It’s inexcusable for anyone to put their hand over someone’s mouth. Even on the pantomime that is GB News.

Indeed, it was pretty unprofessional but as she implies, GB News is a bit of joke anyway so I think they’ll let her off this time. I mean, who the hell is even watching Jacob Rees-Mogg’s Poundland Jeremy Kyle act anyway?

Previously on GB News, Katie Price and Nigel Farage flirted with each other in front of a packed studio audience. Yikes.
