It’s only been about a month since convicted paedophile Gary Glitter was released from prison and a bunch of people tracked down the halfway house he was staying at and started attacking him, but he’s already been recalled to jail after using a smart phone to ask about the Dark Web. Looks like those people were maybe right to go after him like that?

The disgraced pop star was filmed discussing the web browser DuckDuckGo, before talking about logging onto the Onion – the most popular web browser you can use to access the Dark Web. Logging onto the Dark Web – where a lot of illicit pornography and all manner of messed up stuff is found – has apparently breached the terms of his bail, with a Probation Service spokesperson saying the following:

That’s why we set tough licence conditions and when offenders breach them, we don’t hesitate to return them to custody.

Well fair play to them really. I think it’s well documented that Gary Glitter is an absolutely depraved maniac and I’m pretty sure that nobody in their right mind actually thought if he was let out of prison that he wouldn’t try to hook up with kids again, and the fact that he’s already trying to trawl around the Dark Web pretty much confirms this. Hopefully he has to head back to prison for a long long time after this. Guy can’t be trusted.
