It’s fair to say that we’ve been waiting a long, long time for the final series of Game Of Thrones and because of that it probably can live up to its billing as the most anticipated series finale of all time.

With that said, HBO can pretty much give us anything at this point and we’ll lap it up uncontrollably and that’s exactly what they’ve done with the first trailer they’ve released. The trailer tells us literally nothing that we didn’t know before – as we all know that the final series will be starting in April 2019 – and just features a whole load of fire and ice consuming everything and then meeting in a massive clash into the Game Of Thrones logo:

Useless. But it still did exactly what David Benioff and D.B. Weiss intended to do and get us all hyped and pumped up for the final series. Everyone’s already watching it, sharing it and talking about it in their offices. Go and join them right now, you’re gonna do it anyway.
