OK, now we’ve got that out of the way, if you’re up to date on ‘Game Of Thrones’ then you will have seen Arya Stark get stabbed multiple times by the Waif in the last episode and kinda getting away from her by jumping into the water below. It looks like she survived, but we’ll have to wait until the next episode to find that out for sure.

There are a couple of theories going around the internet though about what was actually going on in this scene, with one claiming that it was a double of Arya which seems pretty legit, but it’s this one from Redditor CatNamedStupidity that is really making our heads explode. Basically, she thinks that Arya and the Waif are the same person, in a classic ‘Fight Club’/’Mr Robot’ twist.

Here’s their reasoning:

Well, to be fair there’s a lot going on there that makes sense and there are a lot of techniques used for the same purpose in ‘Fight Club’ and ‘Mr Robot’ there too. I’m sure a lot of people actually guessed both of those before the reveal though (esp ‘Mr Robot’) whereas nobody seems to have seen this coming if it’s true. Hopefully we’ll have some answers before then.
