Bizarrely for some reason everyone in France absolutely loved this story and the children have now developed into some kind of cult heroes over there. A Facebook fan page set up for them has accrued over 740,000 likes in a few days and is filled with stupid contributions from its fans like a custom made subway card for Serge which you can see below. Somebody has also decided to set up a Tumblr where they place Serge into pop culture situations which again seems like bizarre reaction to some kids taking a llama on a subway train on a drunken night. Still, I guess they are French.
