Former Labour MP Ivor Caplin Arrested During Paedophile Sting – Days After Attacking ‘Unacceptable’ Elon Musk

Last week, former Labour MP and Labour Defence Minister Igor Caplin went on GB News to condemn Elon Musk for involving himself in the UK’s grooming gangs scandal, and decry the abusive tweets that the Tesla billionaire had sent to Keir Starmer and Jess Phillips about it.

Well, fast forward less than a week later, and Ivor Caplin has been busted for child sex offences following a sting by online paedophile hunters. You couldn’t make it up:

Not that this should necessarily come as too much of a shock, mind you. Just look at these insane Tweets coming from Ivor Caplin’s X account over the last year. The guy is a certified freak:

Jesus! Did he think he was sending private DMs or what? I mean, I get that Ivor Caplin is no longer involved in politics (at least not officially), but even still, he wouldn’t be dense enough to purposely Tweet this stuff so publicly, would he? Then again, who knows what goes through these sickos’ heads.

I did wonder whether it was a fake account but it has been active since 2015 and is followed by loads of verified accounts, from MPs to councilors to journalists, and including Angela Rayner:

The good news is that Ivor Caplin has been arrested and won’t be getting away with attempting to meet a 15-year-old boy, and whatever else he may be potentially charged with. It’s also worth noting that Caplin was suspended from the Labour Party back in June 2024. Why? Seems a few questions might need to be answered…
