The Brazilian goalkeeper who ordered the murder of his girlfriend before feeding her to his Rottweilers has claimed he’s “not a bad guy.”

Bruno Fernandes de Souza was released from prison in February on a legal technicality after spending just 6 years in jail for the horrific crime.
Bruno had model ex-girlfriend Eliza Samudio tortured and strangled to death, then chopped her into pieces and fed her remains to a pack of Rottweilers. All because of a dispute over child support.

Incredibly, since leaving prison Bruno has signed a two year contract with Brazilian team Boa Esporte.
He said in his first interview since leaving prison:
Dude, what happened, happened.
I made a mistake, a serious one, but mistakes happens in life — I’m not a bad guy.
People tried to bury my dream because of one mistake, but I asked God for forgiveness, so I’m carrying on with my career, dude.

It’s unreal how this guy’s acting like he put too much salt in the pasta or something. One mistake? How about four mistakes – torture, murder, chopping up body, feeding body to dogs. Sounds like a whole bunch of terrible mistakes.
But maybe it’s good that Bruno can now focus his energy on football and not murdering and chopping up women. If only young Daniel Bartlam had some hobbies too.
