It’s no secret that Floyd Mayweather isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer (the guy can’t even read FFS), but he’s actually just made an excellent point regarding sports and racism.

The undefeated champion was discussing McGregor’s success and popularity with FightHype (after pretending like he doesn’t really know who he is), and quite rightly said:
I don’t really know the McGregor guy, never seen him fight
They say he talks a lot trash and people praise him for it, but when I did it, they say I’m cocky and arrogant.
So biased! Like I said before, all I’m saying is this, I ain’t racist at all, but I’m telling you racism still exists.

On one hand that is a good point, but on the other we’ve got to remember that despite the two of them being generally loud, disrespectful and obnoxious, I’m pretty sure Conor McGregor never beat the shit out of his girlfriend in front of the kids, or kidnapped and beat up two of his employees after he suspected they stole from him. That could go some way to explaining why people don’t like Floyd Mayweather very much.
Other than that — solid observation Floyd!
McGregor has previously state that he would “kill” Mayweather if the two of them ever fought, which led to Mayweather suggesting the Irishman was “trying to get himself some publicity”. It will never happen, but boy what a dream match that would be.
P.S. Ricky Hatton can also attest to what a dickhead Floyd Mayweather is, after telling this insane story about the lead-up to their fight years ago.
