It’s fair to say that pretty much everyone in the world has been excited about the fact that the original Zombieland cast was getting back together for a sequel since it was announced, so anticipation is only going to increase with the arrival of the first official trailer for the movie.

Zombieland: Double Tap is opening on October 18th and the trailer looks as though it’s going to feature the same hyper kinetic style as the first one. It’s kinda crazy to think that everyone involved in the movie has become more famous since it came out yet they’re all still up for doing the sequel and that a whole bunch of new superstars are also joining them.

Yeah, that looks like a lot of fun but they didn’t really say much about what was going on in the plot of the movie did they? Except maybe some weed loving hippy kidnapping Abigail Breslin, but thankfully there’s a handy plot synopsis available too:

Through comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland, these four slayers must face off against the many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. But most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family,

I mean that didn’t really tell us anything either, but there’s no way it’s not going to be good is there? October can’t come soon enough.
