When it comes to TV shows that ruined their entire legacy with their ending, you can’t really look further than ‘Dexter’ and ‘Game Of Thrones’.

The first trailer for season nine of ‘Dexter’ has just been released and it does look like it’s going to at least attempt to make amends for that terrible ending where he turned up as a bearded lumberjack. Take a look and see what you think:

OK, that really isn’t telling us much about what’s going to be happening, other than implying that he’s still a lumberjack and that he’s going back to killing people. I can’t really muster too much enthusiasm for it at the moment, but bearing in mind that most reboots tend to be fairly good and the fact that it was a lot of fun to hear his inner monologue again, maybe this is going to be a project worth investing my time in when it drops? Now we can only hope they do something similar with ‘Game Of Thrones’.
For more of the same, check out this ‘Dexter’ Q and A getting really awkward when Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter are asked about their divorce. Whoops.
