It’s always a treat when you hear about a new Louis Theroux series getting released and even more exciting when you you finally get to see a trailer for it.

Louis’ new series is called ‘Altered States’ and you can read the synopsis about it and watch the trailer below. The first episode is going to be shown next Sunday on November 4th.

I have always been interested in how people conduct the most intimate aspects of their lives.

For this series we looked at the new ways Americans are approaching some of humanity’s oldest dilemmas: pregnant mums who feel unequipped to keep their babies and so pick new parents for them; the world of polyamory aka ‘ethical non-monogamy’; and people with debilitating conditions who opt to hasten their own deaths.

I mean yeah it just pretty much looks like every Louis Theroux documentary ever there doesn’t it? You know, him standing there looking stern and kinda awkward and asking some questions to some people, before driving around in a car and then pondering what they’ve said. If it ain’t broke though don’t fix it hey? Pretty much no way this isn’t going to be good.
