There’s no denying that ‘Game Of Thrones’ was one of the most popular TV shows of all time, but fans are still butthurt over how that last season went down so it’s going to be interesting to see if the much talked about prequel show ‘House Of The Dragon’ gets anywhere near its status when it’s finally released this summer.

‘House Of The Dragon’ is set 200 years before the events of ‘Game Of Thrones’ and tells the story of the civil war that raged through the House Of Targaryen. The first season will consist of ten episodes and drops on August 21st with Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen, Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower, Rhys Ifans as Otto Hightower, Steve Toussaint as Lord Corlys Velaryon, Paddy Considine as King Viserys Targaryen.
The first trailer was released yesterday so take a look:
Lol Matt Smith looks like a major weirdo there doesn’t he? That’s probably the best (?) thing about the trailer because again, like a lot of stuff we’ve featured the past couple of months, it didn’t really tell us much about what’s actually going to be happening in the show – it basically just looks like more of the same from the ‘Game Of Thrones’ universe. Let’s hope that they’ve learned their lessons from that final season and this show can be something that everyone is talking about every week again. In a way that they’re really excited about it, not that they’re bitching about it all the time. See you August 21st.
