The Amber Heard/Johnny Depp court case literally dominated the news cycle last summer, so it’s kind of surprising that it’s taken Netflix so long to produce the ultimate documentary on the subject, but its release is now only a couple of weeks away on August 16th and Netflix have taken this opportunity to drop the first trailer for the series.

I’m sure that everyone reading this knows what went down during the trial, so I don’t really think that this needs any more of an introduction:

Depp v Heard examines the infamous defamation case that captured the world’s attention as the first Trial by TikTok, and questions the nature of truth and the role it plays in our modern society.

Wow they’ve certainly done a good job there with the trailer and ensuring that this is going to be must watch television – which is no mean feat considering everyone knows what happened during the trial and that isn’t the case with most of the documentaries that Netflix produce. Only a couple of weeks to wait before we’re all talking about Depp and Heard again for at least the weekend.
