There’s no denying that the Avengers and the MCU has pretty much taken over the world at this point, so the only surprise about this article really is that it’s taken so long for someone to cash in on a tie in video game for it.

Don’t worry though because the big reveal just dropped at E3 and it looks like it’s going to be pretty good. Developed by Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal – behind the Tomb Raider reboot and Deux Ex: Mankind Divided – the game will feature a completely original story, the game claims to introduce a Marvel video game universe that you’ll be able to play in for years to come alongside up to three of your friends in online co-op mode.

So I guess that’s just pretty much the plot of Endgame kind of? At least in the way that the Avengers disband and five years later they’ve gotta get the gang back together.

Gotta say though I’m kinda disappointed with that for a trailer for a video game. I don’t really give a shit about the plot for a video game. I mean obviously that’s important but I wanna see some actual gameplay in the trailer so I can tell what I’m gonna actually be doing in the game and whether or not it’s actually going to be fun or not. No doubt that this probably is, but would have been more up for checking out what was actually going to be happening in the game rather than just seeing a movie trailer in video game form.

Also where the hell was Hawkeye? First he doesn’t show up in Infinity War and now he doesn’t show up in this? Kinda weak.
