‘Dune’ was undoubtedly one of the biggest movies of 2021 – and would have been anyway even if it hadn’t been one of the movies designed to get people back into cinemas following the pandemic – and so it stands to reason that a lot of people are going to be hyped up about the sequel.

‘Dune: Part Two’ picks up where the first movie left off with Paul Atreides teaming up with Chani and the Fremen to reign down bloody revenge on the assholes that betrayed him and killed his family. This time Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya will again be joined by Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling and Javier Bardem, as well as newcomers to the franchise in Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, and Léa Seydoux.
Take a look at the trailer below:
The saga continues as award-winning filmmaker Denis Villeneuve embarks on Dune: Part Two, the next chapter of Frank Herbert’s celebrated novel Dune, with an expanded all-star international ensemble cast.
Dune: Part Two will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.
OK I gotta admit that I was probably one of the only people in the world who didn’t really like the first one that much, but this trailer does make the new one look like it’s going to be pretty badass. I know most of it’s just about Paul riding one of those massive worms, but that in itself is pretty much the main reason that anyone wants to watch these movies anyway. More of that please.
